Our collection of Asian Art would not be complete without statuary,  Stone and Wood carvings created there are world famous.  We work with our carvers, creating both contemporary and sacred pieces that make us proud.  Whether you are creating a home altar or meditation space, beautifying your outdoor world or adding a distinctive touch to your home, our handmade images will inspire you.  Images of the Buddha are a strong reminder of the serenity that we crave.  Ours are created by loving hands from Stone, Marble, Wood and Bronze.   The artistic reverence with which these statues are created is evident in the fine detail and beautiful finish of all of our sacred art.  Since her first visit to Asia, our owner has been fascinated by wood carving and it shows! Our Bronze sculpture is imported from Java and still produced in a lost wax process.  We like their depictions of dragons and dragonflies as well as Buddhist and Hindu images.  The Vietnamese family providing us with fine marble statues brings together a family of stone workers that have provided large installations to Buddhist temples all over the world.  Bali stone – what can we say? FANTASTIC!!!   Limestone, granite, sandstone all become amazing renditions from life on earth or the spirit world at the skillful hands of the Balinese.  We are on a continual search for only the finest quality and because they are one of a kind, the inventory is ever changing and expanding, a testimonial to the joy of the search.   From the wood carving center in northern Thailand, Baan Tawai, the Thai Spirit House is the inspiration for our company name.  This interesting tradition is an integral part of Thai life and we love to see Westerners embrace this custom in their own ways.  Our beautiful Thai Spirit Houses are available in quite a variety of sizes and styles, hand carved from teak and suitable for use outdoors in any climate.
